Fantasy Football Draft Night

The big annual fantasy football draft was last night at Park Avenue Pizza. I used the Draft Dynamix Draft Analyzer Software for the 4th year in a row. Our league went electronic back in 1994 when we just used autoload updates on AOL. We have been using Fantasy Commissioner for about 10 years now and I highly recommend it. It makes tracking your players easy and mobile updates are available. You can now even hold drafts online if your entire league can’t make it. We always seem to have someone on a business trip drafting via conference call. The first time I used Draft Dynamix I did ok but the software user interface was hard to use and since our league uses a completely custom scoring system that was hard to program into the software. The new Draft Analyzer software is web based and offers desktop integration if there is no internet access where you hold your draft. The best part is that it integrates with the CBSSportsline site so I don’t have to manual add my scoring system. opefully it will keep me in the money again.
The software makes it easy so I don’t have to buy 8 magazines and write down all the picks as we move along. Although it helps you still have to make your picks from your gut. My gut pick this year was Jermichael Finley at tight end. I wanted Aaron Rodgers again he came through for me last year after Tom Brady went down. I am also excited about the Packers Defense they won 2 head to head matches for me last year.

While I don’t like looking like a homer here are the Packers I ended up with:
Ryan Grant RB
Brandon Jackson RB
Mason Crosby K
Green Bay Defense and Special Teams
Jordy Nelson WR

I am definitely excited for the new NFL season to begin
